Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons. There’s something about the “ber” months that feels extra special, with so many fun activities and holidays to look forward to. Even living in Las Vegas, where we’re usually putting out pumpkins while it still feels like summer outside, I can’t help but lean into all the cozy things anywaysuch as pumpkin patches, Halloween movies, fall treats, decorating the house, and the little traditions our girls look forward to every year.
This year, I wanted to be a little more intentional about actually doing the things we always say we want to do. So I made our family a Fall Bucket List—a place to write down all the fun, cozy, and slightly spooky things we want to fit in before the season slips away.
And because I know we aren’t the only family trying to squeeze a little extra magic into fall, I turned it into a printable you can use with your family too.
For me, a fall bucket list isn’t about trying to pack every weekend with plans or checking off every single box. It’s really just a fun reminder to slow down and make time for the things we love doing together. Some of our favorite memories come from the simplest things whether it’s watching a Halloween movie at home, baking something sweet, decorating pumpkins, or heading out for a family fall adventure.
Our list is a mix of the bigger fall outings and the little things we can do right at home. I love having everything written down in one place so when we have a free afternoon or weekend, we can pick something from the list instead of realizing in November that we never got around to half the things we wanted to do.

There are always a few things on our list that I’m especially excited about. I love the bigger outings, like visiting a pumpkin patch, but I also love the simple nights at home just as much. Sometimes a favorite Halloween movie like Hocus Pocus, a cozy fall treat, a football game or decorating the house for fall are all you need to make an ordinary night feel special.
Grab the Free Fall Bucket List
I made this Fall Bucket List to use with our own family, but I wanted to share it with you too. It’s completely free and comes in 12×18 and 16×20 poster sizes, so you can choose the size that works best for your space.
Print it as a poster, and fill it with all the fun things your family wants to do this season. I love the idea of keeping it somewhere everyone can see it and watching your fall plans turn into memories as you work your way through the list.
Here’s to a Little Fall Magic
However many things we end up checking off our list this year, I know the best part will be the time we spend together doing them. That’s really what this list is about—not trying to create a perfect fall, but making space for a few fun traditions, little adventures, and memories along the way.
I hope your family has just as much fun filling out your list and making it your own. Here’s to pumpkin patches, Halloween movies, way too many fall treats, and a little extra magic this season.
